Travel on the Island

Hotels may provide a transfer from the airport or sea terminal, it’s worth checking with them before you travel.

Taxi (Sorry, no Uber)

There is a taxi rank outside the terminal.

Car Hire

There are also a few options for hiring a car on the island, including:

You don’t necessarily need a car on the island, especially if you’re only going for the weekend and staying in Douglas. If you’re staying for longer, or want to explore all the island has to offer then it’s worth considering.

Hire cars come with parking disks that should always be displayed in non-pay parking zones.

Bus

There is a bus stop outside the airport which connects most towns on the island. For routes and schedules please refer to www.bus.im
